As a PCC student do I have access to online philosophy journals?

Answer

To locate full-text online issues of specific journals, follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to http://pima.edu/current-students/library/ or the "Library Tab" on MyPima
  2. Click on "+ Articles & Databases"
  3. Click on "Looking for a specific journal or magazine?"
  4. Type the name of the journal you are seeking, such as "Mind" or "Analysis",
or click from the drop-down box "Title contains all words" and type a keyword such as "Philosophy" or "Philosophical"
  5. You will see a list of databases that contain the full-text of the journal you are seeking. Look at the dates of coverage listed next to each database to make sure the dates you want are available
  6. If asked for a password, use your MyPima username & password.

Also, one of the PCC campus libraries may subscribe to the journal you are seeking.

To locate print copies of specific journals in PCC campus libraries, follow these steps:

  4. Type the name of the journal you are seeking, such as "Mind" or "Analysis",
or click "Word" from the drop-down box and type a keyword such as "Philosophy" or "Philosophical"
  5. You will see if any campuses subscribe to your journal in print.
