How do I access the databases when off-campus?

Answer

It works the same as on-campus, except that you need to login with your MyPima credentials.

First, choose a database

From the Library's homepage,

  • click on the Articles & Databases button.
    • You can choose a database by subject
    • or use the alphabetic dropdown menu to choose a database name.

Or from MyPima

  • Click the Library tab, then choose Articles & Databases
    • You can choose a database by subject
    • or use the alphabetic dropdown menu to choose a database name.

When you are off campus,

you will be prompted to enter your MyPima username and password.  If you encounter problems, chat with us (can be found on the Library webpage), or send us an email via Ask a Librarian

Who has off-campus access to PCC library's databases?

  • Only PCC students, faculty, staff, and administrators

          Community users can use the databases, too, but when the visit the library.
