Q. I have a recalled Verizon hotspot checked out, what should I do?

Answer

If your hotspot is showing signs of battery damage such as bulging, swelling, or overheating, stop using the device immediately. Even if your Mobile Hotspot is not currently showing signs of battery damage, Pima Community College strongly recommends that you turn off and unplug your device, store it in a safe place away from flammable material (do not throw it in the trash), and refrain from using it.

Replacement hotspots are now available. Please bring your hotspot, charger, and case to the West Campus C building entrance (see map) during the following service hours to exchange it for a new device:

  • Mondays 9AM - 1PM

  • Tuesdays 5PM - 7PM

  • Wednesdays 9AM - 1PM

  • Thursdays 1PM - 5PM

  • Fridays 1PM-4PM

Contact the Library at 520-206-4370 during regular business hours or via live chat if you have any questions.
